To qualify for the position, you will need:
1Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) 2A caring & loving personality and demeanor 3Leadership and mentorship skills 4The ability to work your scheduled shift 5The ability to read, write & speak English As a Registered Nurse (RN) you are responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in accordance with our policies and proceduresYou will have all of the training, support, tools & equipment you need to provide the highest degree of quality careOur team of nursing care professionals & mentors will be by your side every day, including a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing and AdministratorYour responsibilities will include:
1Enhancing the clinical care and quality of life of our residentsAnd ensuring that all resident rights are protected2Preparing and administering medications as ordered by the physician3Checking all residents daily to ensure that prescribed treatment is being properly administered by nursing personnel/assistants and to evaluate their physical and emotional status4Keeping the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff and related matters5Implementing recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or the Director of Nurses6Administering professional services such as:
catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, taking blood, sputum, and urine specimens, etc., as established by the facility's policies and procedures7Completing all Registered Nurse RN required record keeping forms/charts upon the resident's admission, discharge, transfer, etcFile in the resident's chart and/or forward to the appropriate department8Giving and receiving nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours9Investigating complaints and grievances and making necessary oral/written reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses10Presenting in a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior and speech11Adhering to our policies and standardsCome work somewhere awesome as a Registered Nurse (RN)!
