Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field Demonstrated experience working in the food and beverage industry Strong working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Prior experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of USDA, FDA regulations Ability to drive quality and continuous improvement on the manufacturing line Equipment Utilization, Health and Safety, Planning and Organizing, Policy and Procedures, Verbal Communication Responsibilities for the Production Supervisor include:
Operating a multi- line production, ensure quality products in a safe, secure and sanitary manner within the product design specifications Use a continuous improvement mindset to ensure the safe quality of the product Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a higher level of safety Coach operators to build their functional and leadership capabilities and to drive accountability in safety, Quality and Food Safety, Autonomous Maintenance, and team engagement HAACAP proficiency needed Proactively identify risks and opportunities as well as reactively lead on-shift incident resolution when operators require additional support Participate in the implementation of improvement strategies that will help the line/area perform more effectively Partner with other departments regarding the resolution of ongoing problems, the implementation of new procedures or process, the injection of new products or product lines, and the development of new plan and designs Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
