Responsibilities:
Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) is looking for a motivated and data-driven individual to assist our Chief Information Technology Architect to modernize the department of IT Services.
You will play a critical role in creating the technical roadmap for all three branches of the Kansas State government and gain IT enterprise architecture experience through researching and building IT architectural strategy, policy, standards, and best practices on complex and dynamic issues.
You will also evaluate how technology can be leveraged in providing next-generation government services.
Specifically, you will:
Communicate with agency stakeholders to collect, analyse and report on their existing and future IT project plans.
Using process automation tools such as Microsoft Power Platform to automate the data collection and reporting process.
Using analytic tools such as Microsoft PowerBI to analyse data collected and create the dashboard for public consumption.
Qualifications:
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platforms such as PowerApps, Power Automate, and PowerBI.
Experience in effectively analyzing and assessing complex enterprise IT ecosystems.
Experience in quickly identifying and translating business requirements into multiple technical design options.
Experience in data analytics and developing dashboards and reports.
Understanding of enterprise architecture principles, patterns, practices, and frameworks Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
