Hiring Requirements Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Work Experiences:
At least two (2) years of relevant work experience required.
In-direct support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and expected sales targets.
Other Requirements:
Must meet federal and state requirements for selling and processing firearms transactions.
Must meet requirements to qualify to obtain/maintain FOID card (Illinois only).
Skills:
Excellent customer service orientation; an effective problem solver and communicator with customers and team members Read, interpret and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, plan-o-grams and procedure manuals Prepare routine reports and correspondence Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form Working knowledge of inventory software, order processing systems, Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
Responsibilities:
Acts as lead and provides guidance when needed to sales team members with cashiers and Asset Protection to ensure that exceptional customer service is the priority of every interaction and for execution of operational tasks.
Assists manager with daily planning of operational tasks assigned to the store.
Oversees special or ongoing process improvement projects and initiatives.
Executes plan to ensure team members are compliant with established policies and procedures and applicable laws.
Assists with departmental zoning by providing support, guidance and overseeing the recovery process.
Actively participates in floor walks with Store Manager, Store Director, District Manager, and Regional Vice President.
Process firearm sales in compliance with federal and state law, including properly completing ATF Form 4473 and conducting background checks.
Required to complete Firearms Sales Certification Training.
Required to learn and follow company policies, procedures and safety rules.
Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior.
Duties may change and team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements & Attendance Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Regularly required to talk and hear, stand walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance and lift 41 to 60 pounds Must constantly lift and/or move up to 3 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 6 pounds and occasionally lift up to 1 pound with another team member.
