gov) Job duties:
Supervise a caseload of juvenile offenders and children in need of care who are placed under court supervision.
This CSO will work closely with parents, schools, and service providers to address client needs.
Interview clients and families and compile information for reports and testimony for the court regarding disposition/sentencing and/or possible placement options.
Maintain timely and accurate chronological records of each client.
Identify client needs and make appropriate community referrals as necessary.
This position requires court appearances and court report writing.
While home visits may be conducted when warranted, this job is located in the Shawnee County courthouse with office hours of 8 a.
m.
to 5 p.
m.

Limited remote work privileges available upon completion of a one-year probationary period.
Education and
Experience:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in psychology, sociology, social work, criminal justice, or other human services related field.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Proven verbal and written communication skills.
A minimum of one year experience in one or more of the following within the past five years:
Conducting interviews Writing formal reports Working with juveniles and/or families Working with clients with substance abuse and/or mental health issues Application deadline:
