The Customer Project/ Program Manager will perform the following PMO duties for project:
Lead customer engagement to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing customer projects. Manage corporate, customer and third party vendor efforts to plan, sell and implement solutions to customer problems. Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Operate in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develop strategy and lead large, cross-division functional teams or projects the affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Maintain the master project schedule, manage Issues, Risks, and Action Items, gather and write bi-weekly status reports, facilitate status and schedule review meetings, take minutes, and manage PMO activities. Manage large, moderately complex, local or sub-region customer project delivery with medium- high risk which involves handling both legal and commercial issues
Manage project financials including P&L;
Meets or exceeds Solution Opportunity Approval and Review (SOAR) approved budgets
Provides reliable financial forecasts to HP Services (HPS) management
Manage business development
Identifies and develops new opportunities on current project
Supports qualification and opportunity assessment for large and moderately complex opportunities
Acts as opportunity manager for medium to high risk deals
Manages client relationships
Manages mid to upper level client delivery relationships
Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients
Manages project team
Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size less than 20 people
Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members
Provides performance review input and indication of area of development for team members
## Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
First Level University degree 5 years experience in project management or in like roles/businesses
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Strong PM skills
Strong MS Office
Strong Microsoft Project
Strong facilitation skills
Excellent client-service and communication skills
Healthcare, Medicaid or government domain knowledge and experience is preferred.
PMI PMP is preferred
Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of key Services' operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
Speaks with expertise to many layers of depth related to project management method
Strong Application Development experience is required.
