The Transportation Aide provides residents additional assistance with mobility or other ADL's when they are at medical or other appointments outside of Brewster Place.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and be able to work independently. He or she must be physically able to push and maneuver wheel chairs, assist with other mobility devices and operate ADA lift equipment. Must be able to bend stoop, reach and lift easily. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
