Food Service Supervisor
Duties include but not limited to:
The incumbent provides overall policy guidance and program objectives.
The incumbent, having developed competence in the Food Service Supervisory Work, plans the day-to-day activities, handles deviations according to established procedures, and resolves problems that arise in accordance with appropriate standards and practices.
Recommendations and decisions made by the incumbent are reviewed for technical soundness and appropriateness in relation to the nature of the situation.
The employee provides input to the resolution of sensitive and controversial issues.
As the incumbent progresses in the developmental position, less supervision and guidance is received, work assignments are carried out more independently, and decisions made are reviewed for technical accuracy and effectiveness in meeting objectives and achieving expected result.
Work Schedule:
Variable - includes weekends, holidays and a combination of shifts, 5am to 1:
30 pm and 10:
30am to 7:
