Lawn Care Crew Leader
Lawn Care Crew Leader needed for growing lawn care business! We offer a full range of Lawn and Landscape maintenance services. We need someone with experience who can drive a truck and pull a trailer. Must know how to run commercial mowers, trim and edge, prune shrubs, etc., etc. Must work at a fast pace. Will start out working with owner or another crew, to learn the properties and the way we like things done. You will be paid $12 per hour while training. After training period you will be paid a percentage of work completed (commission). Potential to make $15 per hour plus, with productivity equal to current crews. Time and a half for overtime. 50 hours plus not uncommon during busy season. Must be able to work long hours in the heat or cold, and Saturdays when necessary due to heavy work load or rain-outs. Duties will include (but not limited to):
Driving Truck with 16-20' trailer. Operating Commercial mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hedge clippers, chain saws, and many other power and hand tools. Applicant will identify issues, solve problems, make suggestions to customers, and much more.
Training:
Applicant will be trained by Owner or Senior Crew Leader. Once trained, applicant will be given his own crew and work list each day. Must be responsible with ability to work on own and perform quality work, safely and efficiently.
Compensation:
$12 per hour during training. Paid by commission. $13-$16/hr. once show ability to perform work on own, and run 2-3 man crew.
Seasonal Nature of Work:
Lawn Care is seasonal and has to be worked in around the weather. Applicant must be willing to work around the weather. This is a full-time job, with over-time during the busy season (spring and fall). Year-round employment, but part-time during the winter.

College level course work in Horticulture, Arboriculture, Forestry, Business, Sports Turf Mgmt, Turf grass Science, Golf Course Mgmt, Landscape Design or related fields, with a passion for customers, turf and the outdoors.

Previous experience in the Green Industry a plus. Act like an entrepreneur while being part of a larger company. Are you a high achiever with absolute integrity?
