General Manager
Cycle Zone Powersports seeks a fearless, ambitious manager for our exciting retail store in Topeka, KS. The desired candidate must have previous experience in a managerial capacity, for either automobile, or other motorized vehicle dealership with sales and service departments.
As the General Manager of Cycle Zone, you will take leadership of managing the day-to-day operations while working closely with the Sales Manager in setting and meeting sales objectives and goals. You will also be responsible for overall inventory of parts, accessories and all other store merchandise. The General Manager should be a passionate ambassador for business-building and all that it represents.
Your main responsibilities include:
o Meet or exceed personal and store sales objectives while controlling base expenses
o Maintain store presentation to Cycle Zone standards and maintain strong supplier relations
o Oversee all store inventory and asset purchases; inventory levels to maximize financial store performance
o Exceed customer expectations with the latest products, service, and information
o Properly staff, schedule, and train qualified team members
o Coach, inspire, and motivate team members to maximum efficiency
o Plan store-specific promotional events to generate community interest and awareness
o Enthusiastically collaborate with the Marketing Director to achieve desired results and take advantage of branding opportunities
o Travel may be necessary for seminars, job fairs, and trade shows for personal development and for opportunities to build our business
Experience Required:

years of general business experience in sales and operational planning which should include:
- Developing or managing budgets / experience in managing service departments
- Effective presentation, collaboration, negotiation, leadership, and facilitation skills
- Must have superior computer/software skills
Education Required:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, and/or Finance
- Comparable work experience considered
