We are looking for an energetic Sales Representative with a strong drive to grow and develop business within our existing account base and new customer opportunities.
About us:
Smith-Southwestern is an Import Distributor of souvenirs, gifts, books, calendars, Christmas cards and much more. Smith-Southwestern has offered sales and service to our extensive customer base for over 50 years. We pride ourselves in our quality sales team providing the highest level of service to our customers within our 19-state area. Our Corporate office is based in Mesa, AZ.
About the job:
We are looking for a career-minded Sales Representative that has the ability to grow business and maintain our customer base in Topeka, KS and the surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate for this position should have and/or be able to:
o Develop and grow our market presence in the Kansas area
o Maintain and service our existing client base
o Practice excellent presentation, communication skills and closing
o Strong sales background
o Merchandising background
o Excellent organizational skills
We have existing fixtures and footage in most major chain stores as well as independent locations. Our sales team will typically write orders and merchandise on a bi-weekly and monthly basis.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
