OPERATIONS AND TRAINING SPECIALIST

As an OPERATIONS AND TRAINING SPECIALIST, GS-0301-09, you will manage and direct the activities of the Operations and Training Division assuring ranges, training facilities, training aids and devices are available to users of the training site. Formulate long and short range plans for the development of range facilities and the training areas. Oversee and direct the work of one or two subordinates assigned to the Operations and Training Division. Coordinate with using organizations to assist in obtaining support if not available at MTA, with units having requested support capabilities. Prepare budget requirements for submission to support manday. Review plans, specifications, architectural and engineering documents for range facilities to assure conformity with doctrine and for compliance with DA range safety criteria. Oversee the processing of applications for service schools and formal technician courses. Perform other duties as assigned. Military Grades:

Experience:
Experience, education, or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must have at least 24 months experience, education or training in any position that required compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Applicants must have experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management. Experience developing administrative procedures.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
