7 on 7 off Hospice RN On-Call
Seeking an experienced RN to manage the after hours nursing needs of our patients and families.
The On-Call Nurse responds to after hours phone calls promptly and appropriately, and makes patient visits as necessary.
This position is for the Topeka and Overland Park, Kansas area.

ResponsibilitiesCarrying out physician ordersInforming the physician of changes in the patient's condition and needsCommunicating with medical professionals, the hospice team and othersMaintaining accurate, up-to-date recordsProviding services in accordance with agency policies and regulations that define scope of practiceParticipating in in-service programsDemonstrating strong communication and customer service skillsRequirementsKansas Nursing LicenseHospice experience preferredStrong organizational and self-management skillsStrong and compassionate customer service skillsValid driver's license.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
